All-new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Finally, after making its global debut back in August 2022, Royal-Enfield Hunter 350 has entered the Malaysian market. The new model will join the brand’s segment already consisting of the Meteor 350 and Classic 350.

Variants

The new Royal-Enfield Hunter 350 is available in two trim options, namely Metro Rebel and Metro Dapper. The only difference between them is the color scheme and price.

Powertrain configuration

Powering the Hunter 350 is the same tried and tested 349 cc single-cylinder J-series engine found in the Classic 350 and Meteor 350. Here the mill generates the power and torque output, i.e., 20.2 hp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

The power is delivered to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and chain final drive. The setup allows the car to attain a top speed of 114 kmph.

Wheels & Brakes

The new Hunter 350 rides on a set of 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 110/70 at the front and 140/70 tubeless tyres at the rear.

On the braking front are available hydraulic disc brakes with a dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System.

Other key inclusions

The motorcycle features a 13-liter fuel tank, a USB charging port, analog & digital dash, a 43 mm telescopic front forks, and twin shock absorbers with 6-level preload. It also offers an easy seat height of 790 mm.
