All-new KTM Duke to be introduced soon?
KUALA LUMPUR: KTM is working on a new motorcycle and by the looks of it, it might be the next-gen Duke.
Motociclimso, a European publication captured a test mule on the roads of Spain and says it to be the revised version of the 125 Duke. Though still in an early stage of development, many of the bike's components are still incomplete.
While some are also predicting it to be the updated 390 Duke, the engine size and exhaust exit of the test mule say otherwise. Making it a good possibility that KTM is working on a new 125 Duke.
The test mule’s design language on closer inspection reminds one of the Super Duke R Evo and the 1290 Super Duke R. Including redesigned headlamp, front shroud bodywork which extends towards the front past the fork leg, cast aluminum rear subframe instead of the steel tubular design.
With all the features of the test mule indicating the next-gen Duke 125, there is still some scope left for surprise. Also, by the looks of it, it is difficult to predict when the upcoming KTM motorcycle will enter production.
Are you excited about the upcoming KTM? Do you want it to be the next-gen 125 Duke, if so what changes would you like to see? Let us know in the comments.
