KUALA LUMPUR: KTM has launched a new model for all the adventure lovers out there, the 2023 890 SMT Supermoto Tourer. The new bike made its debut in style on a mountain road in Sardinia, Italy, and wooed everyone with its form and performance.

Segment

KTM describes the all-new 890 SMT Supermoto Tourer as a cross between a streetfighter and an adventure bike. It is essentially a Supermoto Tourer.

Engine

Powering the 890 SMT is the same mill that fuels the 890 Duke R; which is a LC8c parallel-twin mill with a displacement of 899 cc. Here the 890 SMT makes a maximum power of 105 hp at 8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 100 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed gearbox.
