All-new Honda Vario 125 launched in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda, the official distributor of Honda motorcycles and scooters in the country has launched a brand-new product. Called the Vario 125, the compact scooter has a lot to offer to urban riders.

Price

The new Vario 125 retails for RM 7,080, an affordable tag for someone looking for an attractive and efficient commute option.

Engine

Powering the new Vario 1255 is a 125 cc 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) engine generating a maximum power of 11 hp at 8,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 11.74 Nm at 5,000 rpm.

Exterior

In terms of bodywork, the Vario 125 features the same bodywork as the outgoing Vario 150.

Features

The Vario 125 benefits from the same feature as the 150cc variant, however, with a slightly updated package that includes -

• 18L under-seat storage
• Honda SMART key system with Anti-theft alarm
• Answer Back system
• Full LED lighting
• Fully digital instrument cluster
• USB charger port
• 14-inch wheels (with 90/80 at the front and 100/80 at the rear tyres)
