2024 SYM Maxsym TL508 maxi-scooter launched in Malaysia at RM 46,888

KUALA LUMPUR: Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd recently introduced the SYM Maxsym TL508 maxi scooter alongside the SYM Husky 150 in Malaysia. While we've delved into the details of the Husky 150 previously, let's now focus on the Maxsym TL508, starting with its pricing.

The 2024 SYM Maxsym TL508 maxi scooter is priced at RM 46,888 (excluding road tax, insurance, or registration). Included in the price is a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.

The SYM maxi scooter is powered by a 508-cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, eight-valve, DOHC churning out a maximum power of 44.9 hp at 6,750 rpm and a peak torque of 49.9 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a CVT gearbox mated to a wet multi-plate clutch system.

The scooter boasts a sleek and modern design with a range of impressive features. It is equipped with four reflective LED headlights that not only enhance visibility but also add a touch of sophistication to its appearance. Further adding to its modern aesthetics is the futuristic LED tail light and a honeycomb-shaped dual-pipe exhaust. 

As for comfort and convenience, it comes fitted with a height-adjustable windscreen and an ergonomic seat design ensuring a comfortable and supportive riding experience. The under-seat storage is also spacious allowing riders to carry essential stuff during daily commutes.

In terms of technology, the Maxsym TL508 features a TFT-LCD screen that provides clear and vibrant information, a keyless system for effortless ignition, and a USB charging port inside the front cowl compartment that allows riders to stay connected on the go. Also part of the kit is a traction control system providing better stability and control on various road surfaces

The scooter rides on 15-inch wheels wrapped with 120/70 front and 160/70 rear tubeless tyres. As for suspension, it features telescopic forks at the front and a swingram at the rear. The braking duties are managed by a two-channel ABS, which operates on 275 mm diameter dual brake discs at the front and a single 275 mm disc at the rear.

SYM Malaysia offers the Maxsym TL508 in three striking colour options - Indigo Blue, Storm Gray, and Jet Black.
