2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 up for grabs in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: The sole distributor of Royal Enfield bikes in Malaysia, Didi Group, has recently introduced the all-new 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 at the prestigious Art of Speed Malaysia. This latest adventure bike is offered in three versions locally - Base, Pass and Summit. 

Before diving into the bike’s specifications, let’s have a look at the variant- and colour-wise pricing -

Powering the new Royal Enfield bike is a 452-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled 'Sherpa' engine that is capable of generating a maximum power of 40 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The top speed is rated at 122 kmph.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 boasts a rugged and adventure-ready design with a sturdy frame and a large-capacity fuel tank. It offers an upright riding position and improved visibility on the roads.

• Tide-by-wire throttle system mated to selectable riding modes

• Split seats with adjustable seat height between 805 mm and 845 mm
• USB C-type charging point
• Upside down fork front suspension and Linkage type mono-shock rear suspension
• Hydraulic disc brake with a double-piston calliper at the front and a single-piston calliper at the rear
• Switchable rear ABS
