2024 KTM 390 Duke debuts with bigger engine, new styling, and more tech
KUALA LUMPUR: The Austrian bike maker KTM has finally pulled the wraps of the highly awaited next-gen 390 Duke. In the latest form, the naked sport bike features a bigger engine, a completely refreshed design, and a pack of modern features.

The previous 373 cc displacement engine is replaced by a new LC4c 398.7cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit which complies with Euro 5.2 regulations. The revamp engine kicks out a maximum power of 44.86 PS and a peak torque of 39 Nm i.e. 1.36 PS and 2 Nm more than the predecessor.
The new engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox, three riding modes (Street, Track, and Rain), and the segment-first launch control system.
The updated KTM 390 Duke also benefits from a new steel trellis frame, a new die-cast aluminium subframe, and a curved cast swingarm. The entirely new design of the bike looks sportier and more aggressive with sharp angles, a redesigned LED headlight mated to split DRLs, a new fuel tank, sharper tank extensions, and a split seat configuration.
With thicker foam and a narrower profile, the seat measures 820 mm in height, which can be reduced to 800 mm for better riding comfort.

The new KTM 390 Duke colour palette comprises two vibrant options - Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue.
