2024 CFMoto 450 CL-C cruiser launched in the Philippines

KUALA LUMPUR: Globally revealed at the 2023 EICMA show, CFMoto’s newest cruiser, the 450 CL-C, has landed on the Philippines shores. Priced at PHP 287,900 (approximately equal to RM 24,243), the bike is offered in two colour options - Nebula Black and Ruby Red. It is poised to rival the likes of the Kawasaki Eliminator 450 and Honda Rebel 500.

    • At its core lies a 449-cc parallel-twin water-cooled DOHC engine tuned to deliver 40 hp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 39 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed transmission featuring a wet multi-plate and slipper clutch system

    • In terms of dimensions, the new CFMoto bike measures 2,205 mm in length, 805 mm in width, and 1,110 mm in height. The wheelbase and ground clearance are measured at 1,495 mm and 160 mm
    • With a 120-litre fuel tank capacity, the 450 CL-C tips the scales at 181 kg
    • It comes equipped with modern features such as an advanced lighting system with energy-efficient LED lights and a user-friendly circular TFT display for enhanced visibility and intuitive control

    • The bike rides on 16-inch wheels shod with 130/90-R16 M/C CST front and 150/80-R16 M/C CST rear tyre
    • As for the suspension, it gets a 37 mm upside-down telescopic fork at the front and a mono-shock absorber with preload-adjustable at the rear
    • The braking duties are handled by 320 mm single disc 4 radial callipers at the front and 220 mm single disc at the rear. These are completed by a dual-channel anti-lock braking system and traction control system
