Let’s get to know the Kawasaki introduced traction control system in detail -

    • The Ninja 650 and Z650 will feature Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC) in three different settings, thus meeting all the rider’s need
    • In Mode 1, the KTRC system is more preserve
    • In Mode 2, the intervention sets in a bit earlier making it apt to deal with lower-traction scenarios, like while riding on wet roads

    • The rider even has the option to switch off the traction control entirely, allowing for more fun on the track
    • The preferred KTRC setting can also be accessed by the rider via the standard Bluetooth-enabled, full-colour TFT LCD instrument panel. Apart from showing various functions onscreen including turn-by-turn navigation

On the mechanical front, both Kawasaki’s continue to source power from a 649 cc parallel-twin mill generating a maximum power output of 67 hp along with a peak torque of 65 Nm. The drive is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed gearbox and chain final drive to the rear wheels.

Assuring a smooth ride all along is the two motorcycles' suspension setup that includes a non-adjustable 41 mm telescopic front fork and a horizontal back-link shock at the rear. Braking is taken care of by a twin 330 mm diameter front disc clamped by two-piston callipers and a 220 mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper at the rear. As the standard fit is available two-channel ABS.
