2022 Yamaha T-Max 560 arrives in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: After much teasing, Hong Leong Yamaha Motor has finally launched the all-new Yamaha T-Max 560 in Malaysia. It is a middleweight scooter that belongs to the brand’s Big Bike range and features a dynamic road presence with its superior styling and performance.
Meant for cruising on the busy city streets or long-distance traveling, the maxi-scooter is equipped with a 562-cc parallel-twin engine generating a total maximum output of 47 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 55.7 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The power is channeled to the rear wheel through a V-belt automatic gearbox.
Accompanying the powerful engine is the lightweight chassis made of a die-cast aluminum twin-spar frame. It comes with an optimized rigidity balance and offers smoother navigation to the rider.
The luxury maxi-scooter features a compact LED 3-bulb turn signal, specially designed ‘boomerang’ side sections, and all-around LED lighting. It is also equipped with a monochrome TFT multi-function instrument cluster that comprises a tachometer on the right, a speedometer on the left, and a central display showing various indicators.

As for suspension, it gets a 41 mm upside-down fork at the front and a Swingarm link-type system at the rear. The braking duties are handled by dual disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
The 2022 Yamaha T-Max 560 price in Malaysia starts at RM 72,288 (without road tax, insurance, and registration). It is available in two shades - Tech Kamo and Power Grey. With every purchase, the company is offering a Royal Selangor key pouch and a brake disc lock.
