2020 Yamaha XSR155 launched in Indonesia, priced at RM 10,783
KUALA LUMPUR: Yamaha has launched the 2020 XSR155 naked retro in Indonesia. The specifications of the motorcycle are similar to the one launched in the Thai market in August 2019.
Design-wise, it’s a basic retro-styled bike. Both the front and rear lights feature the LED technology. There is also a circular fully-digital display. It weighs 134 kg and rides on 17-inch wheels, covered with 110/70 at the front and 140/70 at the back. The seat height of the two-wheeler is 810mm. New Yamaha XSR155 is available in two different colour options - Matte Black Elegance and Matte Silver Premium.
Coming to the specifications, the Indonesian spec 2020 Yamaha XSR155 naked retro is similar to the Thai-spec one. It is equipped with a 155 cc single-cylinder SOHC VVA engine, which is fed by Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI). The engine can make a maximum power of 19 hp, which comes at 10,000 rpm and the peak torque of 14.7 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed gearbox.
Suspension-wise, the 2020 Yamaha XSR155 naked retro comes with telescopic forks, while the preload-adjustable monoshock takes care at the back. The bike gets hydraulic disc brakes both at front and rear.
2020 Yamaha XSR155 comes with a price tag of 36.27 million Rupiah, which is equivalent to RM 10,746 in Malaysian currency. Apart from the base 2020 XSR155, Yamaha also offers additional accessory packages like Tracker and Sport Heritage.
