2020 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Standard launched at RM 132,400
KUALA LUMPUR: Harley-Davidson has launched the 2020 Electra GLide Standard on the Malaysian shores. The formalities were done at the special media gathering in Harley-Davidson PJ, as published by an auto publication Paultan. According to the company, the Electra Glide Standard is the least expensive touring motorcycle in the company’s lineup, the Street Glide Special is available at a price of RM 169,400 and the Electra Glide Standard at RM 132,400.
The Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Standard is powered by the 107 V-twin Milwaukee Eight 1746cc engine that is capable of producing a peak torque of 150 Nm at 3,250 rpm, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. It features a fuel tank of 22.7 litres and weighs 372 kg.
On the equipment front, it gets a navigation system, on-board entertainment, and cruise control. It rides on 49mm dual-bending front forks and rear shock absorbers with adjustable preload. The wheel fitted at the front measure 17 inches while the rear measures 16 inches. For braking, the company has bestowed it with Brembo brakes as standard and ABS as an option.
The only colour available is Vivid Black, but customers get a host of customization options including paint choices to suit different budgets and styles. You can choose your preferred colour and accordingly the charges will apply.
