100 unit limited Livewire all-electric model sold out!

KUALA LUMPUR: After its first all-electric offering the Livewire One, the Harley-Davidson owned brand has unveiled its second electric product.

Known as the S2 Del Mar LE, the company decided to market it as a limited-run, pre-order model with just 100 units planned. The term ‘LE’ in the name reflects its limited-edition nature and owing to its limited availability the brand sold out all the units via online pre-order in just 18 minutes, earlier this week.

Thus, making a pretty strong impression on its targeted audience.

Key highlights of the Livewire S2 Del Mar LE electric motorcycle -

• Livewire’s new limited-edition motorcycle sits on an all-new ‘Arrow’ monocoque chassis architecture that combines an electric motor (80hp), control hardware, and battery pack
• It uses a modular design approach, meaning it can be used by the company for its forthcoming models as well

• It electric adopts an ‘urban street tracker’ aesthetic
• In the limited-edition format, the S2 Del Mar gets stunning unique finishing with a matching wheel design, and numbered plaque signifying its limited-run status
• The latest Livewire weighs 199 kg, stands on 19-inch wheels, and offers a maximum range of 161 km

Overall, the Livewire S2 Del Mar LE is a new, simplified, and affordable version of the Livewire One.
