The price range of the all-new Triumph models are starting at RM 56,900 and goes up to RM 79,900. With these two new launches, the British bike manufacturer has taken the iconic Bonneville line-up to a whole new level. Following are the top three highlights of 2018 Bonneville Bobber Black and Speedmaster:
The Design
The 2018 Bonneville Bobber Black exhibits a stronger, darker and muscular look, inheriting Bobber’s iconic silhouette, engineering innovations and hidden ‘clean line’ rider focused technology. The model will now ride on a 16-inch front wheel that will be covered in Avon Cobra rubber and fitted with 47mm Showa forks. Other highlighting features include a unique black seat pan, full-LED headlight with black chrome plated headlight rim, DRL (daytime running lights) and blacked out bars, exhaust, hubs, levers and many more.
The 2018 Speedmaster has been designed with the right blend of class, practicality, and attitude to provide a laidback riding experience. The new model will sport 16-inch spoke wheels and will be available in three color options, namely - Jet Black/Phantom Black, Cranberry Red, and Fusion White.
There is also a vast collection of premium goodies and accessories on offer, both for the Speedmaster and Bobber Black, containing more than 130 items.
The Engine
The new Bonneville Bobber Black features a 1,200cc parallel twin liquid-cooled engine that produces a max power of 77 hp at 6,100 rpm and a peak torque of 106 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
On the other hand, the 2018 Speedmaster will also be propelling the same 1,200cc parallel twin engine that makes the similar power outputs as the Bobber Black. With a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres, the new Bonneville Speedmaster is ideal for long road trips.
For both the models, a six-speed transmission will be on offer.
Safety Features
The New 2018 Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black will be equipped with a brand new twin rotor 310mm front disc brakes with Brembo calipers, which is a noteworthy upgrade from the standard Bobber. Moreover, thinking of the less experienced riders, the clutch will now come featured with a mechanical lever assist function that will make the lever lighter to use.
Other standard safety features on the 2018 Bonneville Bobber Black and Speedmaster include ABS, single button cruise control, switchable traction control, engine immobilizer, torque assist clutch etc. Besides, both the models will feature two riding modes - Rain and Road.
Aside from the 2018 Bonneville Bobber Black and Bonneville Speedmaster, Triumph has also launched the Tiger 800 adventure bike range that will be offered in six different variants, price range for which will be starting at RM56,900 for the base variant and will go up to RM81,900 for the top-of-the-range variant.
