Malaysia Autoshow About

Malaysia Autoshow About

The country’s biggest auto show, the Malaysia Autoshow, has been up and running since 2010. It was in 2017 that Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) hosted this massive auto event, one of the key reasons being its 4.5 km test route. This year, the show is scheduled between 22nd May and 26th May, so sit tight as we take you along on this impeccable journey filled with cars & motorcycles, events, activities and lots of fun.

The Autoshow’s seventh edition is organized by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics, and IoT Institute (MARii), and it continues the tradition of showcasing the latest & upcoming models in the market, both conventional and electric vehicles. Things will be more exciting this year as more brands are participating, leading to the expansion of the exhibition hall from 30,000 sq meters to 40,000 sq meters.

The official mascot for MAS 2024 is WIRA, a dynamic Malayan Tiger that is dressed in eye-catching racing suits, embodying both adorable charm and fierce spirit.

Time and again, MAS has proven its worth by encouraging sales. Every year, around a thousand plus bookings are made at the show, taking the total sales value to over RM 50 million. For instance, last year alone, RM 1 billion in sales were registered. As for the car launches and showcasing, the show attracted 250,000 visitors last year, with over 300 models on display, thus making it a big deal in the industry.

One of the main objectives of this five-day event is to promote local auto entrepreneurs' products and services and introduce the country to the international world of automobiles. A few of the primary attractions of the show are the long and interesting display of  Energy Efficient Vehicles, sustainable mobility tech, and advances in the area of vehicle safety and comfort.
