Things we like
|
The Nissan X-Trail is the only SUV in its segment which comes with a petrol hybrid engine option, apart from the regular conventional petrol engine. The petrol-hybrid engine in the Nissan X-Trail not only feels more smooth and refined but also trumps other SUVs when it comes to fuel efficiency. With the presence of safety features like lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring system, forward collision warning, and forward emergency braking, the Nissan X-Trail is one of the safest premium SUVs in its category. For a premium SUV, the Nissan X-Trail has a good balance of comfortable ride quality and good driving dynamics. The SUV, despite having a high ground clearance, has negligible body roll, which makes the overall driving experience very pleasurable. |
Feature-rich and spacious cabin: The Proton X90 boasts a feature-rich and spacious cabin, providing passengers with ample comfort and convenience. High-quality materials and a user-friendly infotainment system enhance the premium feel. Comfortable ride quality: The X90's comfortable ride quality ensures smooth, stable journeys, even on rough terrain. Engine refinement at lower RPMs: Engine refinement at lower RPMs offers responsive acceleration and fuel efficiency, making the X90 a versatile and practical choice for various driving situations. |
Things we don't like
|
While the front and second row of seats in Nissan X-Trail are very plush and spacious, the third row of seats suffer from low space levels. Both the legroom and knee room are very low, which makes them best suitable only for small kids. The recent facelift of the Nissan X-Trail has made it quite eye-pleasing this time, however, it still lacks the road presence of other conventional full-size premium SUVs available at its price. While the Nissan X-Trail feels solidly built-in and out, the design of the central console on the dashboard is a bit unappealing. The presence of a number of buttons around the infotainment system makes it look a bit cluttered. |
Inconsistent power delivery at higher RPMs: The Proton X90 experiences inconsistent power delivery at higher RPMs, which may affect overall driving satisfaction, especially during overtaking or uphill drives. Steering feedback at higher speeds: The steering feedback at higher speeds could be improved, as it may lack the precision and responsiveness desired by some drivers.
