Things we like
|
It is quite delightful to see how radical the Honda HR-V looks. The exterior styling inspired from that of the very radical Honda Civic is itself is a big boost to its visual appeal. The HR-V looks striking from whichever angle you look at it, especially the front end which makes it look very sporty. The two-door look of the side profile of the Honda HR-V looks very unique in its segment, thanks to the recessed door handle in the C-pillar. For a premium compact SUV, the Honda HR-V has been packed with contemporary features which are best in its segment. The HR-V comes with some really premium and feel-good comfort and convenience features which were usually seen and present in only premium and full-sized SUVs. |
Smooth ride and sharp handling thanks to G-Vectoring Control and well-tuned suspension Comprehensive safety features, including ADAS, across all variants Premium build quality with solid cabin materials and standard leather touches.

Things we don't like
|
While it is not of much big concern, but the Honda HR-V looks more like a raised and rugged hatchback rather than an SUV, which makes its stance not so authoritative. The coupe-ish styling and raised stance do give a rugged effect to the Honda HR-V, however, it does not look as big as a vehicle of this price should be. The coupe-like profile of the Honda HR-V gives it a very sporty stance at the rear and side, however, this very styling theme eats up a bit of room in the cabin at the rear. The sloping and curvy roofline reduces rear headroom by a small margin, making tall passengers quite uncomfortable. |
Dated exterior and interior design shows its age despite minor updates. Tight boot space (264 litres) compared to rivals. Lacks modern conveniences like ventilated seats and wireless Android Auto. |
