Honda Malaysia has added two new hues to the BR-V’s exterior colour kit - Meteoroid Gray Metallic and Ignite Red Metallic. These new tones have replaced the previously available Modern Steel Metallic and Passion Red Pearl hues. Also, the new Civic was the first Honda sprayed in these new colours. The City was next to feature the two striking shades.
“Honda Malaysia has introduced the Ignite Red Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic colours in our hatchback and sedan line-up, namely the All-New City Hatchback, City, and All-New Civic, while the Accord also offers the Meteoroid Gray Metallic colour,” said Hironobu Yoshimura, Honda Malaysia CEO.
He further said, “These colours have been receiving good response from the market. In view of the good acceptance, we now continue to expand the new colours to the seven-seater Crossover, the BR-V.”
“The Ignite Red Metallic further elevates the attractiveness and bold appearance of the BR-V, while the Meteoroid Gray Metallic enhances its rugged look. We are confident that the introduction of the new colour options will further excite customers who would like to purchase the BR-V.”
Honda BR-V: A quick recap
Honda Malaysia introduced the ongoing BR-V in 2020, and since then, 5,700 units of the car have been sold. Its success is attributed to its overall; design that meets the overall expectations of the customers.
The BR-V is powered by a class-leading 1.5-litre i-VTEC mill generating a maximum power of 120 PS. It is paired to a CVT transmission with earth dreams technology that makes gear change smooth and optimises speed with less fuel consumption. It also gets an ECO indicator and paddle shift.
