Volkswagen offers 5-star treatment with 5-star service check nationwide

KUALA LUMPUR: Before bringing your car back on the road, make sure it is in perfect condition for the return in case you have not been using it during movement control order. To address this concern, several automakers are offering special service packages to their customers. Volkswagen is one such brand that recently announced a free 5 Star Service Check at all service centres nationwide. 

Under the 5 Star Service Check, the service advisors visually check the vehicle in a comprehensive manner to review and highlight the potential wear and tear and identify any severe issue. They inspect the vehicle’s body, paint condition, lighting, brakes, windscreens, windows, wheels, and tyres. According to the company, the checking is transparent, fast, and free of charge.

The customers who send their vehicles for 5-Star Service Check will also get the privilege of additional savings on the purchase of selected parts if replacement needed. These include up to 20% off on genuine batteries and tyres, RM 50 discount on each set of brake pads and brake discs, RM 40 off on fuel additive bottle, RM 5 off on windscreen cleaner fluid, RM 20 discount on each wiper blades set, and 5% discount on the windscreen.
