UMW Toyota opens new 3S centre open in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak

KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Toyota is dedicated to enhancing the accessibility of its products and services across Malaysia. A testament to that is the brand’s new 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts) centre in East Malaysia. Located in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, the new Toyota 3S centre is operated by Borneo Mobility (Samarahan) Sdn Bhd, a UMWT dealer since 2020.

The Japanese brand has witnessed a significant development in Kota Samarahan in recent years. The locality is often referred to as the "Town of Knowledge" due to thriving educational institutions, including Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Along with that, the establishment of new residential areas, commercial centres, and infrastructure projects in the region also makes it an attractive location for businesses and residents alike.

The new Toyota centre is strategically located 30 km southeast of Kuching, the capital of Sarawak. It caters to the growing demand for Toyota vehicles and services in the region, serving over 130,000 people.

The new Toyota outlet houses a large showroom displaying the brand’s extensive range of vehicles. The state-of-the-art facility also incorporates a well-equipped service centre with five service bays offering efficient after sales care to Toyota customers. The new facility is expected to contribute an additional 12% to the sales volume of Borneo Mobility, which has already established a strong presence in the region.

Upon opening the new centre, Datuk Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor said, “This new 3S service centre is just our way of bringing our brand closer to our customers, wherever they may be, while ensuring they have seamless access to our services whenever they need them.”
