The Japanese automaker sold a total of 10,931 units (10,709 Toyota and 222 Lexus) during the month, which is observed as the brand’s highest-ever monthly sales in the last 5 years. It takes the year-to-date sales tally forward to 87,422 units, reflecting a growth of 9.1% over the 80,153 units in the first ten months of last year.

The automaker organised the Alphard Cup from October 17th to 19th, 2023, at the Kota Seriemas Golf & Country Club. It marked the conclusion of the Toyota Tour's sporting segment, with Galven Green securing his first professional win. Notable performances were also seen in the Ladies Championship, where Aretha Pan claimed victory in a thrilling play-off on the par five 1st hole.

- The company also extended its support to the National Cancer Society of Malaysia via the Start Your Impossible (SYI) campaign to expand and improve its services and programs.
- UMW Toyota Motor also introduced the annual Toyota Outrun to reinforce its brand image and affirm its position as an innovative mobility company, resulting in a collection of RM 170,000.
