UMW Toyota launches TEY program to foster environmental awareness and innovation
KUALA LUMPUR: In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, UMW Toyota has launched the 23rd edition of Toyota Eco Youth (TEY). It is a yearly nationwide programme that is focused on teaching young people about environmental issues. Through this initiative, the automaker aims to actively engage young individuals in developing sustainable environmental solutions.

Started in 2001, the Toyota Eco Youth Programme is part of UMW Toyota’s efforts to protect the environment through corporate social responsibility. Over 23 years, it has involved more than 300,000 students from 521 schools and nearby communities, raising awareness about environmental issues.
Through such programmes, the company is working towards a cleaner, greener future aligned with Toyota's goal of achieving zero CO2 emissions by 2050.
