UMW Toyota declares Malaysian winners of 16th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest
KUALA LUMPUR: Commenced in 2004, the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is one of the largest global art contests for children, which encourages and inspires creativity amongst children and lets them portray their dreams of how cars can make the world better.

Bhd since 2013, which recently announced the top winners of the 16th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, conducted in three categories. (Category 1: 7 years old and under; Category 2: 8 to 11 years old; and Category 3: 12 to 15 years old).
The top 3 winners chosen from thousands of submissions for the national phase of the global art contest are -

- Jason Chan Kin Lock (Category 3; 12 to 15 years old)
"We are delighted to receive more than 2,300 entries this year. All the submissions were extremely invigorating and stimulating, with so many fresh and novel ideas. Selecting the winners was indeed very challenging. I would like to applaud all the participants for expressing themselves so well," said Datuk Ravindran K, President of UMW Toyota Motor.
Toyota Motor Corporation has received a total of 530,000 entries for the 2022 event from all over the world. The winners of the global contest will be announced in August 2023.
Over 8 million artworks have been submitted by children in more than 140 different countries and regions in the global contest to date.
