Toyota GranAce is ready for Tokyo debut
KUALA LUMPUR: Toyota has declared that it will introduce GranAce during the ending months of 2019 for the Japanese market. As per recent reports, the car will feature in the Tokyo Motor Show, which is to commence this month.
Toyota GranAce is indistinguishable from Toyota Granvia, which is released by the company in Australia. The car also matches the Majesty model that is quite popular in the motor market of Thailand.
It comprises a length of 5300 mm, and it is based on the 6th generation H300 HiAce technology. The car will be available in two variations of sitting arrangements - a 3-row six-seater and 4-row eight-seater.
GranAce specs sheet is studded with twin-lens LED headlights and massive chrome grille with multiple louvres that looks the same as Granvia. The outlook of the wheels are similar, as well. In the interior, there are sleek colour combinations with the wood grain trim. Other vital elements are the Ottoman Mechanism and a user-friendly Display Audio System. This system allows the user to connect a smartphone easily.
Toyota GranAce engine bay has a 1 GD-FTV, 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel engine. The power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic gearbox. HiAce technology ensures stable handling and ultimate ride control. The rigid-axel rear suspension is present in the car that minimizes extreme jerks and jolts.
Features of Toyota Safety Sense are present in Toyota GranAce, which ensure pre-collision security. The smart security system in the vehicle can detect both cyclists and pedestrians in the daytime, thus delivering the rider with a seamless drive. The brakes present in the car offers decent stopping power. The car will be able to provide outstanding service on the highway as it can convey an alert for lane departure, which minimizes the chances of accidents.
