Toyota expands KINTO ONE subscription service in Japan

KUALA LUMPUR: Toyota Motor Corporation has announced that it will expand its beloved car subscription service KINTO ONE in Japan. This service was initially introduced by the company starting March 1, 2019. It is to be noted that the Japanese automaker will continue to offer the KINTO SELECT on a trial basis, as it expands the scope of KINTO ONE service.

As for the lineup of vehicles currently listed under KINTO will expand in the future with almost all Toyota and Lexus car to be added by mid-2020. Speaking of the cars offered through Toyota KINTO ONE service, the AQUA is priced 42,660 yen, i.e., around RM 1639.42 per month. Also, 4WD models and cold climate specifications are offered to the customers so that they can experience greater comfort when driving through cold and snowy regions.

In addition, Toyota Motor Corporation is also running a family bonus campaign in Japan called the ‘Get your second Toyota for the family with KINTO ONE!’. The said campaign will run for the entire month of July and September and will offer 50,000 yen worth of gift card to buyers signing up for KINTO ONE in case they have a family member with a Lexus or Toyota vehicle.

Both KINTO SELECT and KINTO ONE do not require any down payment and are offered as a monthly fixed-sum service and packs vehicle tax, vehicle charge, registration charges, voluntary insurance payments, and vehicle voluntary insurance payments. As voluntary insurance is also included in the monthly rate, this service is excellent for the younger generation of drivers along with first-time buyers.

With the KINTO ONE service, buyers are likely to get vehicles equipped with advanced safety features like Lexus Safety System+ and Toyota Safety Sense.

The Japanese automaker will continue to engage in KINTO like initiatives, ensuring that vehicles continue to be the beloved companion of customers and give cars a fulfilling life.
