The round tail lights are escorted by a central spar binding them – probably a nod to the FD RX-7 – is a well kept touch. The peice of information pertaining to this news has been limitedly disclosed, though it is fixed that the car will be equipped with a front engine, power driven by a next generation SkyActiv-R rotary engine and rear-wheel drive focused to sort out the mill's 3 dominant barriers which encompasses: Emissions functioning, fuel economy and authenticity. Nonetheless Mazda hasn't gone into any fine points on the engine at this juncture. The company's “never-stop-challenging” spirit is signified through the classical triangular engine- as stated by Mazda.

Quick Tour:

R&D Chief Kiyoshi Fujiwara stated that: “If we were to mass produce the car, the Cayman is the right kind of assumption (as a rival). We would like to make the weight lighter, lighter than a Cayman. The base Cayman weighs 1405kg, a target figure which the production of Mazda will be seeking to beat.” He further stated: “Based on the things we’ve been studying there is still room for more modifications in the shape of the engine. Regarding the transmission of the car he said that a manual gearbox would be his preferred option, but a dual-clutch gearbox might be required which will enhance the performance further.”
