KUALA LUMPUR: The brainchild of EV, Tesla has made its official entry into the Thai market. The automaker made its debut at Thailand's Siam Paragon and offers two models for customers to order - the Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y.

    The Tesla Model Y, on the other hand, is also offered in three trim options namely, Single Motor RWD, Dual Motor Long Range AWD, and Dual Motor Performance AWD. The price ranges from 1,959,000 baht to 2,509,000 baht (approx RM246,151 to RM 315,258).

    Both models come equipped with the brand's iconic 15-inch touchscreen which allows the driver to control several car functions. The system also supports gaming arcades, YouTube, and Netflix.

    Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y - Features

    Apart from introducing new models in the future, Tesla will open its first supercharger in Thailand by Q1 2023. It can reportedly charge the EV up to 275 km in 15 minutes.
