KUALA LUMPUR: Tesla has recently inaugurated its Cyberjaya headquarters in Malaysia incorporating a showroom area and a dedicated parts warehouse. And now, the American EV marque is set to launch its second model, the all-new Model 3 Highland facelift, in the local market.

    Tesla Model 3 Highland

    Tesla Malaysia offers the Model 3 Highland in two variants - Rear-Wheel Drive and Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Long Range, priced at RM 189,000 and RM 218,000, respectively. The former will come equipped with a single electric motor providing a 0-100 acceleration time of 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 201 kmph. While the battery capacity is yet to be known, the quoted driving range is 513 km (on the WLTP cycle).

    Speaking about the Model 3 Highland AWD, this variant is faster as it takes only 4.4 seconds to hit the 100 kmph mark. Also, it will have a bigger battery pack offering a range of 629 km on a single charge.

    Equipment-wise, the upcoming Tesla Model 3 Highland will come loaded with the following bits -

    The EV will come in a range of colour options to choose from. The standard option is Pearl White Multi-Coat. Solid Black and Deep Blue Metallic come at an additional RM 5,000 each, while opting for Stealth Grey incurs an extra cost of RM 7,500 and Ultra Red comes with a premium of RM 11,000.
