Tesla Malaysia opens new Flagship Experience Centre in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with the launch of the Model 3, Tesla has also inaugurated its new flagship Experience Centre in Malaysia, which underpins the brand’s mission to accelerate the world's transition toward sustainable energy. Located at the recently opened Pavilion Damansara Heights, this new outlet marks Tesla's second experience centre in Malaysia, with the first one having been launched earlier this month in Cyberjaya.

The key highlights of the new Tesla Flagship Experience Centre are - 

• As mentioned earlier, it is located at Centre Court, Pavilion Damansara Heights, which is an upscale shopping complex on the western side of Kuala Lumpur, surrounded by popular residential and commercial buildings
• The centre spans approximately 3,000 square feet capable of displaying up to three Tesla cars and providing various Tesla charging solutions and merchandise to customers
• It aims to serve the affluent townships of Bangsar and Damansara Heights

The company invites customers to learn more about ownership, vehicles, and charging technology at this new one-stop centre. 

Tesla Malaysia is committed to enhancing the charging and ownership experience and in line with that, it also opened its second Tesla Supercharging station at Sunway Big Box in Johor recently.

Till date, the American EV marque owns two Supercharging Stations at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The newly-launched Tesla Model 3 can charge up to 282 km in just 15 minutes with the help of  Tesla Supercharging. The company has plans to open more charging stations at Pavilion Damansara Heights, with an aim to create a one-stop destination for customers. 

Tesla has introduced the Model Y and Model 3 in Malaysia; the bookings of both EVs are underway in Malaysia with deliveries slated to begin soon. The Model Y is offered in three variants - RWD, Long Range AWD, and Performance AWD. Pricing begins at RM 199,000 and goes all the way up to RM 288,000. The Tesla Model 3, on the other hand, comes in two variants - Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range AWD, priced at RM 189,000 and RM 218,000, respectively.
