smart Malaysia introduces “smartCare” program; promises proactive support with exclusive services 

KUALA LUMPUR: smart Malaysia has launched a comprehensive after-sales service program called “smartCare” which aims at enhancing the ownership experience and ensuring the safety and reliability of smart EVs. 

The eight key highlights of the new smartCare program include - Live High Voltage (HV) Battery Monitoring, Aftersales Digital Services via the Hello smart App, Local HV Battery Repair Partner, Warehouse & Logistic Partner, Service Outlet Facility with HV Battery Rooms, EV Chargers at all smart Outlets, Qualified EV Technicians, and Body & Paint Facilities. Let’s check them out one by one.

• Live High Voltage (HV) Battery Monitoring: This unique aspect of the smartCare ecosystem offers pre-emptive solutions for potential battery issues through real-time monitoring of the battery in smart EVs. This advanced safety feature allows the EV to send alerts directly to smart Central for prompt action in case of any issue.
• Aftersales Digital Services via the Hello smart App: The Hello smart App allows EV owners to easily access after-sales digital services, including service booking, user guidelines, and emergency assistance via a user-friendly interface. Customers can contact the smartCare Centre at 1-800-22-8877 for prompt support.

• Comprehensive Battery Health Diagnostics: The automaker has also partnered with the local HV battery repair services to deliver swift and eco-friendly repairs to customers. The qualified battery technicians at these repair partner centres reuse functional components and thus minimise downtime and reduce environmental impact. 
• Warehouse & Logistic Partner: As for the parts availability, the EV maker has partnered with a reliable warehouse and logistics provider which has over 3,000 SKUs and 10,000 parts in stock. This partnership reduces wait times and ensures quick repairs.
• Service Outlet Facility with HV Battery Rooms: smart Malaysia’s facility also houses a dedicated and unique HV Battery Room, which ensures safe storage and handling of high-voltage batteries. 

• EV Chargers at all smart Outlets: All 10 smart outlets in Malaysia are equipped with EV chargers, providing customers convenient access to AC and DC charging facilities.
• Qualified EV Technicians: The smart technicians are highly trained professionals equipped with expertise in handling smart electric vehicles.
• Body & Paint Facilities: smart Ipoh, smart KL B&P, and smart Penang outlets also offer Body & Paint (B&P) facilities to EV owners.
