Sime Darby Auto Selection (SDAS) to join hands with MyTukar in an unprecedented deal

KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Auto Selection (SDAS) is a car subsidiary brand of Sime Darby Motors Malaysia and is in full swing to join hands with the online car-bidding platform MyTukar. The collaboration is expected to revolutionise the car trading platform in a never-seen-before unprecedented deal and it will enhance the customer experience altogether. MyTukar is a subsidiary company of CARRO and is one of the fastest-growing trading platforms of online used cars. It has a strong network of around 1900 dealerships nationwide. 

Not only will the customer base benefit from this deal, but at the forefront of business prospects, the SDAS network nationwide is expected to grow to provide a more comprehensive database for used car transactions. the database would help SDAS in bringing about transparency and accuracy on the market transactions that are actually materialising.

The SDAS network shall gain access to the procurement grid which would also open horizons of more choices to the customers. This partnership is also expected to improve the inventory management system of SDAS with a systematic database of used car transactions in place.

SDAS has been expanding its operations for quite some time now. Earlier it became a certified BMW Premium Selection dealer and now it has three branches across the nation- one in Klang Valley and the other one in Johor Bahru.   

The very excited Jeffrey Gan, the Managing Director, Retail and Distribution, Malaysia, Sime Darby Motors said that the digitalisation of data analytics provided by MyTukar ensures that customers receive the highest trade-in value by selling their cars and buying used cars. The digitalised process shall ensure a fruitful experience for the customers. SDAS is looking forward to this deal to create more such seamless ways to enhance the customer experience. 

CEO of MyTukar, Fong Hon Sum, also interacted with media to state that he is very excited and positive about this collaboration with SDAS. MyTukar’s technology platform combined with SDAS inspectors is expected to create a synergy that is unmatched and helps in the implementation of a vision that both companies are aiming for.
