KUALA LUMPUR: The black beauty you see above is the first limited edition of the Maserati MC20 sports car, which goes by the name “MC20 Notte.” The special model is curated by the Maserati Fuoriserie team in collaboration with former GT1 world champion Andrea Bertolini. The global production of the car is limited to just 50 units.

“Fuoriserie means ‘custom-built’ in Italian, and our Trident’s customisation program is conceived to create one-of-a-kind rolling sculptures for our clients. MC20 Notte celebrates the thrill of racing and the allure of the night combining supreme performance and Italian elegance with a touch of mystery of the nocturnal world. It is the first Fuoriserie limited edition of MC20 and it is dedicated to super sports car collectors and track enthusiasts”, said Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati design.
Powering the new Maserati MC20 Notte edition is the same 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbocharged petrol engine available on the standard model. The said mill is tuned to generate a maximum power of 621 bhp and a peak torque of 730 Nm. The car completes the century sprint in 2.9 seconds and clocks a top speed of 325 kmph.
To celebrate the launch of the Maserati MC20 Notte Edition, the automaker released an engaging short film featuring global brand ambassador and MC20 enthusiast David Beckham and Andrea Bertolini. In the film, Beckham's awesome MC20 turns into a speedy racing car, zooming through the city and on the racetrack at night.
