SDAC is one of the Ford’s best distributor & dealer organisations globally

KUALA LUMPUR: Ford’s sole distributor in Malaysia, the Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), is recognised by the Ford Motor Company as one of its very best dealers in the world!

The said recognition comes with two President’s Awards addressing the distributor's exceptional contributions in the area of customer satisfaction in sales and service in 2021. For those who aren’t aware, the President Awards have received top distinction in the automaker’s annual reward and recognition programme. Its main motive is to give recognition to Ford’s distributor partners for their outstanding customer experience and operations.

Ford President Awards were introduced regionally in 2016, this annual awards programme primarily evaluates distributors one the following parameters -

• Highest level of overall customer satisfaction
• Highest level of sales customer satisfaction
• Highest level of service customer satisfaction
• Best sales performance
• Best parts performance

SDAC achieved the highest scores in both sales and service among Ford’s various distributors globally and so came in the 2021 President’s Award. These scores are collected by Ford via an actual customer feedback and satisfaction survey in each marker, including Malaysia.

On receiving the prestigious awards, Turse Zuhair, Managing Director, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford said, “We are truly honored to receive the President’s Awards this year. Having won the Chairman’s Award in 2019 and 2020, we have continued to dedicate our efforts to innovating and finding new ways to enhance customer experiences and improve customer satisfaction. We remain committed to pursuing world-class service excellence for all our Ford customers in Malaysia.”

He further added, “Despite the challenges, 2021 was a tremendously successful year for SDAC. Their dedication, resilience and perseverance have led to various key achievements. In particular, the success of Ford Ranger Getaways, which is a great example of a truly holistic programme designed to provide a richer and more immersive experience for customers, beyond just sales and service.”

Various programmes and initiatives helped SDAC achieve these awards, one such example is the recently concluded and successful Ford Ranger Getaways programme. A community-based adventure platform brought together Ford enthusiasts, customers, and other like-minded people via a series of unique local drive and adventure experiences. For instance, off-roading courses, becoming a pilot for a day, leisure day with nature, or a simple retreat with family.
