Proton launches exclusive in-house tinting services - Factory tinting now available

PROTON is thrilled to share the opening of its Exclusive PROTON Accessories Tint Centre, which finds its home within the cutting-edge manufacturing complex in Tanjung Malim. This marks a notable enhancement of its tinting services, boasting the capability to apply tints to as many as 5,000 vehicles each month.

The launch of security tinting became a hallmark feature for the Flagship and Premium versions of the Proton X90, starting from its introduction on May 7, 2023. This initiative was echoed in the release of the Proton S70 in November of the previous year, where security tinting was included for both the Flagship and Flagship X models as part of their standard equipment. PROTON plans to extend this feature across other models soon, aiming to offer greater value to its customers.

Opting for OEM-installed tints, rather than aftermarket additions, presents numerous benefits. These include enhanced precision in fit and finish due to the use of pre-cut dies, strict adherence to quality assurance protocols, alignment with JPJ regulations, and the avoidance of typical issues seen with aftermarket installations. Furthermore, PROTON backs its tinting services with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty, reflecting its dedication to customer satisfaction and product longevity.
