KUALA LUMPUR: Proton has officially entered the electric vehicle (EV) segment and launched its much anticipated eMAS 7.

  • Priced from RM105,800, this all-electric SUV signals the national automaker’s commitment to electrification. This is of course a special launch price for the first 3,000 customers as Proton has provided a RM4,000 rebate.

    They didn't stop there either, because as part of the launch celebrations, Proton has also introduced six sweeteners to help you transition towards the EV life. The six  complimentary package includes:

    1. Power Home - Which provides you with a complimentary 7kW Home Charger worth RM1,500.
    2. Power Plus - Complimentary V2L Adaptor worth RM500.
    3. Power Financing - Ultra-Low 1.98% Interest rate.
    4. Power Online - 5 - Year Unlimited Internet data worth RM1,800.
    5. Power Exchange - Proton Owner trade-in rebate from Carsome worth RM1,200.
    6. Power Thru - 6 Year Unlimited Mileage Vehicle Warranty and 8 year 160,000 high voltage battery and components warranty.

    Proton says the package has a total worth of up to RM8,000, and all of this is complimentary for the first 3,000 buyers

    Once that has been surpassed, the prices revert back to RM109,800 for the Prime variant and RM123,800 for the Premium variant.

    No matter which variant you go for, the Proton eMAS 7 is equipped with a powerful front-mounted electric motor producing 218 PS and 320 Nm of torque, delivering a brisk acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 175 km/h.

    Both trims feature Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, allowing the vehicle to serve as a portable power source – perfect for outdoor adventures or emergencies.
