Proton collabs with My Tukar, MUV and CARSOME 

KUALA LUMPUR: Looking to trade in your car to purchase a brand-new Proton? If yes, here’s an exciting update for you. Proton has recently made strategic partnerships with three renowned e-bidding companies, viz. My Tukar, MUV and CARSOME, to offer customers a faster and more efficient way to trade in their old cars and own new ones.

Upon signing deals with online bidding companies, Roslan Abdullah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PROTON, said "We are thrilled to join forces with my Tukar, MUV and CARSOME as we believe this transforms the trade-in experience for our customers. By leveraging on their expertise in e-commerce and auction platforms, the EBCs offer our customers a seamless and reliable solution for disposing of their trade-in cars, while also receiving competitive trade-in values.”

Consumer confidence has increased due to these efforts as well as improvements made at the dealership level. Working with EBCs will help to enhance these efforts as well as the trade-in value of our models while helping to facilitate customers who intend to upgrade their vehicles,” he added.

Proton's deal with EBCs offers a convenient, transparent, and trustworthy trade-in process to consumers. It involves - 

• Customers need to send their vehicles for auction via a user-friendly online platform, which will save their time and effort of visiting multiple dealerships and negotiating with potential buyers
• With this fair and open auction system, customers can get competitive trade-in values for their cars
• The platform also features a transparent pricing model enabling customers to make informed decisions 
• It also offers expedited payment and ownership transfer processes while minimising delays or complications
