Proton-Affin Bank credit card launched; offers exclusive privileges

KUALA LUMPUR: Proton has joined hands with AFFIN BANK to offer exclusive privileges and benefits to its customers. Under this new venture, the national automaker launched an affiliate credit card/-i, which is exclusively available for Proton car owners.

The exclusive privileges and advantages available to the AFFIN AVANCE PROTON Affiliate Credit Card/-i holders at the time of making payments are - 

• Lifetime annual fee waiver
• 3X AFFIN rewards points for dining, online/e-commerce, and transactions at authorised Proton outlets
• 1X AFFIN rewards points for other retail transactions
• Hassle-free overdraft or cash line application
• 0% Easy instalment plan for up to 24 months – 0% Interest/ Profit Rate for purchase at Proton outlets, including servicing.

The launching ceremony of the card was officiated by Datuk Wan Razly Abdullahi, President & Group CEO AFFIN BANK, and Roslan Abdullah, Deputy CEO PROTON. During the event, a mock key was also handed over to a customer who financed her all-new Proton X90 MPV via AFFIN BANK’s hire purchase facility.

While introducing the card, Roslan Abdullah said, “The AFFIN AVANCE PROTON Affiliate Credit Card/-i was created specifically for Proton customers. By offering a host of benefits and privileges, we believe the affiliate card will further enhance the ownership experience while rewarding them when they service their cars or purchase our products. Any Proton buyer who finances their purchase with Affin Bank will automatically be offered this new card, and we encourage all existing owners to also apply for it to enjoy its special privileges.
