"The excitement and enthusiasm we witnessed in 2024 was proof of the incredible racing spirit burning amongst our young, driven Malaysians," said Christopher Hunter, CEO of Sime Darby Auto Performance. "It’s inspiring to see their passion for motorsport come alive on the virtual arena, and we are thrilled to bring back the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia for a second year running."
Hunter added that blending virtual and real-world racing aims to nurture local talent and inspire future racing stars, embodying Porsche's core motorsport heritage.
Participants who make it to the podium on the final race day stand a chance to win a unique experience—getting behind the wheel of an actual Porsche on track. Winners under 18 will be allowed to share this special experience with a parent or guardian.

The competition, hosted on the RaceRoom Racing Experience platform on Steam, is segmented into three age categories: Junior Dreamers (ages 10-14), Young Dreamers (ages 15-17), and Driven Dreamers (ages 18-25).
The initial qualifying round involves a 10-minute time trial session, accessible from home or by appointment at local Porsche Centres.
Participants must represent their selected Porsche Centre throughout subsequent rounds.

Top performers from these sessions will progress to the final qualifying event at Bangsar Shopping Centre on May 25-26, which will be open to the public, allowing fans to support and watch the action live.
The best 10 racers from each category will then compete in a high-stakes sprint final on June 8, 2025, at Sepang, coinciding with the Malaysian round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.
The event promises a thrilling fusion of esports and real-world motorsport excitement.
