Perodua Sentral Flagship Centre opened in Petaling Jaya

Kuala Lumpur: Malaysia's premier car manufacturer Perodua has officially opened the doors to its Perodua Sentral Flagship Centre in Petaling Jaya. The open ceremony of this centre is attended by Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade and Industry. The one-step outlet has been set up to raise customer service standards, offering a wide range of services relating to both sales and after-sales.

“The Perodua Sentral is the personification of our transformation initiatives to become global competitive – the building is equipped with facilities which are the best have to offer so far,” Perodua President & CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.

“We look forward to enhancing this partnership with other ministries and government agencies as we have also included the Corporate and Government Sales department to facilitate fleet sales here.”

Equipped with facilities which are the Perodua's best, the compact carmaker has integrated both its sales and service operations into a single seamless experience based on its “mono-operation” methodology.

“From purchasing a car to service reminders to insurance renewals, and even to keeping track of your Perodua reward points via our latest customer loyalty programme – UFirst - everything related to your Perodua experience will be cared for,” he added.

The flagship outlet, which began operating in May this year, required an investment of RM36 million to build and furnish, and sits on a 15,700 sq m land.

So, what makes this centre so special for Perodua and its customers? Aside from its sales showroom and vehicle service businesses, Perodua Sentral also houses 37 service bays, nine vehicle display stations, a mini Road Transport Department (JPJ) counter, a cafe, an ATM machine as well as a pre-owned vehicle service station specially for customers looking to trade in their current vehicle for a new Perodua. Also, there is a kids play area and a Gloria Jean’s cafe wherein you can relax.

Perodua Sentral, Petaling Jaya, also houses the Pre-Owned Vehicle head office as well as the sales and service’s central region operations which is said to be the starting point for the company’s decentralisation initiative.
