Perodua Malaysia re-opens sales and after-sales centres
KUALA LUMPUR: One after the other automakers in Malaysia are resuming work, starting with Toyota & Lexus, followed by VW Malaysia, and now we hear Perodua too have joined the club.
Malaysia home-grown auto brand has opened its sales and after-sales centres along with the body & paint business. In total the manufacturer has 191 sales, 197 service, and 69 body & paint centres in the country.
The news comes shortly after the automaker resumed manufacturing operations at its HQ at Sungai Choh, Rawang.
Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad said, “Deliveries have started in stages since this week and we expect that we can see more Perodua cars produced and registered in the coming weeks.”
In addition, Zainal also thanked all Perodua customers for their patience, loyalty, and understanding. He further said that all the existing orders are most likely to be delivered within this year.
What are all the precautionary measures Perodua is taking to ensure the full safety of its customers and employees?
- Perodua Malaysia has met the required vaccination criteria for its employees
- Safety guidelines are put in place for customers visiting the showroom or service centre (including body & paint facility)
- Customers must be fully vaccinated, wear a mask, observe social distancing, and lastly, customers are required to make a prior appointment before visiting the showroom
The Perodua ecosystem consists of over 70,000 people, which includes 11,000 direct employment and several suppliers, contractors, and dealers.
