KUALA LUMPUR:  To make the process of purchasing a Perodua more convenient for customers, the national car maker has introduced an online booking system called Perodua Online Booking (POB), allowing customers to book a new car without visiting a showroom.

The entire booking process is seamlessly carried out online via Perodua's official website, offering customers both convenience and flexibility. Let’s dive into how it works and highlight some key details you need to know.

Terms and Conditions of Online Booking
To avoid confusion or duplicate bookings, Perodua requires each customer to book only one vehicle at a time. This helps maintain the efficiency of the booking system and prevents any overlap during the registration process.

For non-Malaysian customers, there is a difference in the registration fee based on local authority requirements.

Refundable Booking Fee

Once the payment is completed, you will receive a receipt via email, and you can track the status of your booking through the UFirst app.

If you’re not yet a UFirst member, the sales advisor will handle the document signing process within 24 hours. However, it’s recommended to download the app, as it will be useful throughout your vehicle ownership.

About Waiting Period
It’s important to note that booking online does not shorten the waiting period for your vehicle. All bookings, whether made at a physical showroom or online, are subject to the waiting period of the selected showroom.

Therefore, if you’ve already made a booking at a physical showroom, avoid placing a duplicate online booking, as the system won’t allow it. If you wish to make an additional booking, it’s best to discuss this with your SA or the showroom.
