New Ford Everest earns five stars rating from ANCAP

Kuala Lumpur: The all-new Ford Everest surprised everyone recently with its five-star Australian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) safety rating, with a score of 35.98 from a possible 37. The safety test results mentioned here are for Trend 4X4 auto model of Ford Everest. Although, one can apply the results for other variants of SUV as well.

“It is encouraging to see more 5 star ANCAP safety rated vehicles being released into the Australian and New Zealand markets giving consumers greater choice when buying a new vehicle,” ANCAP Chief Executive Officer James Goodwin said.

“Five-star ratings for both the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest demonstrates the increasing safety focus in the off-road SUV marketplace,” Mr Goodwin said.
