Mercedes-Benz Malaysia partners with Hotels and Golf Courses for EV chargers

KUALA LUMPUR:  Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has unveiled a strategic partnership with several luxury hotels and golf courses across the country, reinforcing its dual focus on premium experiences and sustainable mobility.

This collaboration aims to integrate cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions with lifestyle benefits, further redefining the ownership journey for its customers.

The initiative, announced during a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) event at the Saujana Golf & Country Club, highlights Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s efforts to expand its EV charging ecosystem while offering tailored perks to its clientele.

By seamlessly integrating electric mobility into luxury lifestyle experiences, we are redefining the essence of being a Mercedes-Benz customer,” Zhang said.

She also pointed out the brand’s long-term approach to enhancing EV ownership through partnerships and innovative solutions.

To cater to the growing demand for EV infrastructure, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is rolling out a multi-faceted charging network:

• Charge@Home: Wallbox chargers for residential use, offering convenient overnight charging solutions.
• Charge@Retail: Chargers at Mercedes-Benz retail outlets, enabling easy access for customers during service or consultations.
• Charge@Public: Public charging stations at partner locations such as hotels, resorts, and golf courses.

Collaborations with key Charge Point Operators (CPOs), including EV Connection, ChargeEV, and Gentari, further bolster the initiative.

These partnerships aim to create a reliable and widespread EV charging network, ensuring convenience for customers and supporting Malaysia’s transition to greener mobility.

Mercedes-Benz is also collaborating with prominent establishments in Penang, Klang Valley, and Johor to integrate its charging solutions with exclusive lifestyle perks.

• The RuMa Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur
• Saujana Golf & Country Club Kuala Lumpur
• Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas Johor

Mercedes-Benz customers can access privileges at these locations by presenting their Mercedes-Benz Card or App upon check-in, creating a seamless and rewarding experience.
