Mercedes-Benz C-Class Nightfall is here to enthral

MANILA: It seems that the German car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz has made a habit of launching dark edition of its cars. Last week, it revealed the dark edition of V-Class and now it is C-Class Nightfall Special Edition.

The C-Class Nightfall Edition gets blacked-out exteriors, matte black alloys that are powder-coated and side mirror caps that are also dipped in black. In addition to being available in all body types including sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon, the blacked-out C-Class gets AMG Line accessories as standard.

The coupe and convertible C-Class are available with a carbon rear spoiler while the entire range gets a choice of four colours: Iridium Silver, Obsidian Gray, and Selenite Gray. The 18-inch alloys come as standard while there is an option to upgrade to multi-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Nightfall is on offer with three engine choices, turbocharged gasoline engine, and two turbocharged diesel motors.

The C 220d draws power from a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 170 PS and 400 Nm of max power and torque respectively. The more powerful C 250d houses a 2.2-litre diesel turbocharged engine with power and torque rated at 204 PS and 500 Nm respectively. The C 200 generates a max power of 184 PS and a peak torque of 300 Nm from a 2.0-litre turbocharged gasoline engine.

Along with AMG Line accessories, the dark C-Class sedan gets black ash wood interiors, D-cut AMG steering wheel, an AMG body kit and suspension that’s tuned to offer sporty experience every time you sit behind the wheel. In addition to this, the coupe and convertible types get a diamond grille with chrome pins at the front. Additionally, the dark C-Class gets features like a Burmester surround sound system, keyless-go comfort package, panoramic glass sunroof and ambient lighting.
