Meet the 2020 Toyota C-HR kitted up with Modellista body kits

KUALA LUMPUR: Toyota recently pulled the wraps off its all-new 2020 C-HR crossover. And, Modellista, an aftermarket body kit has taken no time in bringing out two different body kits for the Japanese crossover. Speaking of the Boost Impulse aero kit, this body kit bequeaths the 2002 Toyota C-HR with a new front apron with built-in LED DRLs,

muscular side skirts with black highlights, dual rectangular exhaust exits, and intrusive rear lips. Moreover, customers can also go for various optional accessories like fender trim with a chrome strip, chunky 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, chrome radiator garnish, mirror caps with LED turn signal, and two rear spoiler styles.

While the yellow C-HR with the Modellista Boost Impulse aero kit is for the masses who prefer a menacing, intimidating, and in the face sort of a look, the Elegance Ice styling kit, on the other hand, is for customers who like to cherish grace and tranquillity. Standard equipment includes a new front lip with chrome highlights, side skirts, and rear skirts. Furthermore, optional accessories comprise of the same 19-inch dual-tone alloys that come with the Boost Impulse kit, side door chrome garnish, chrome mirror cap garnish, rectangular quad exhaust outlets, and chromed door handles.

Following the launch of the 2020 Toyota C-HR, it is the new GR Sport variant that is grabbing all the attention. The 2020 Toyota C-HR GR Sport is powered by an 8AR-FTS 1.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 115 PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 185 Nm.

It is CVT that channels the power to the wheels. Besides, there is also a six-speed manual gearbox with rev-matching for the purists. Moving from the GR Sport trim, then there is the C-HR Hybrid that houses a 1.8-litre Atkinson-cycle engine and an electric motor. The total power out sits at 122 hp, and 25.8 kmpl is what the WLTP-rated fuel efficiency figures read.
