Mazda Koeru Concept Debuts At TMS 2015, Could Be Named CX-7
Kuala Lumpur/Tokyo: The Japanese automotive giant, Mazda is moving at a fast pace towards the future of the auto industry. The company stall at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show will attract a major chunk of motorists as they have a total of fourteen concept vehicles on display!
The one much-anticipated concept SUV Mazda Koeru is also shown in the display and according to sources, it will be on the production floors by 2016. The Koeru Concept will likely to be named Mazda CX-7, the SUV is based on the similar platform of Mazda CX-5, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. However, the Koeru is considerably longer, wider and sits lower to the ground than the CX-5.

According to Mazda, the Koeru Concept features “premium level of refinement inside and out”. The car is loaded with the advanced Mazda technologies like i-ACTIVSENSE and Mazda Connect. Mazda says that the, “Enriched KODO shapes deliver outstanding aerodynamics and with it high-speed stability”. Mazda is not revealing much information regarding its upcoming Koeru Concept production dates. Although, considering the past record of Mazda, the company has an excellent record of putting its concept cars into production. The Minari concept introduced by the company took shape into the Mazda CX5, also the Takeri concept of the company came out as Mazda 6 and the Hazumi Concept was moulded into the Mazda 2.
