Mazda CX-90 arrives in the Philippines; Will it come to Malaysia?
KUALA LUMPUR: Globally revealed in February this year, the Mazda CX-90 has now made its way to the Philippines. The three-row SUV hails from the company’s Large Product group and is described as the “pinnacle of Mazda Premium.”

The SUV comes equipped with a 3.3-litre e-Skyactiv-G inline-six turbo engine and a 48-volt hybrid system. The former kicks out a maximum power of 280 hp and a peak torque of 480 Nm while the latter contributes 17 hp and 153 Nm. The power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Also part of the kit is the Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-DRIVE) system, offering four switchable drive modes - normal, sport, off-road, and towing. The all-wheel drive layout of the SUV also has a Kinematic Posture Control tech that promises an enjoyable driving experience.
Dimensionally, the CX-90 measures 5,120 mm in length, and 1,994 mm in width, and spans a wheelbase of 3,120 mm. In terms of design, it also sports sleek curves just like other Mazda cars. Among the key exterior highlights are - LED headlights with L-shaped daytime running lights, L-shaped tail lights, panoramic sunroof, and 21-inch diamond-cut wheels.
The well-crafted interior of the SUV comes in two seating layouts. The CX-90 3.3L AWD HEV Turbo variant has a 2+3+3 configuration offering seating space for eight adults, while the CX-90 3.3L AWD HEV Turbo Exclusive features a 2+2+2 layout accommodating six passengers.
