Malaysia gets new BYD outlets in Putrajaya and Ipoh

KUALA LUMPUR: As part of its plan to have 20 centres by the end of 2024, BYD Malaysia has opened two more outlets this week, bringing the current total to 14. The first outlet is located in IOI City Mall in Putrajaya while the other is at the business centre of Ipoh. Let’s know the key highlights of new BYD showrooms in detail.

BYD Putrajaya centre

This is the brand’s first mall-concept showroom in Klang Valley, which is operated by dealer-partner Millennium Autobeyond. The 1S centre has a display area of 1,299 sq ft showcasing the BYD EVs at a convenient location. It also boasts BYD’s first outdoor concept delivery bay, enhancing the vehicle handover experience. 

“We are honoured to open the first BYD mall-concept showroom for the Klang Valley. We believe that the people and shoppers in IOI City Mall will be excited to have easy access and a unique shopping experience with BYD EVs,” said Bryan Wong, managing director of Millennium Motors Group.

BYD Ipoh centre

Operated by Goh Brothers Group, this 2S centre is located in the business centre of the city. It is a two-storey showroom with a built-up area of 4,000 square feet displaying the brand’s latest range of EVs. As for servicing, there is a separate outlet located approx 6 km away from the showroom. The service centre houses four service bays, two commercial charging stations, and a customer lounge.
