A sister model to Hyundai Ioniq 5, the Kia EV6 is a competent all-electric car with unique styling. The success of this Kia EV can be measured with the number of awards it has won all around the world since its launch; the list includes the ‘Best of the Best' award in Red Dot design and innovative products category, 2022 European Car of the Year and many more. Well, the star Kia EV6 is now ready to hit the Malaysian shores and here we bring its full gallery to know the EV a little better.
Eye-catching exterior
On the exterior, the EV6 looks like a sporty crossover with all modern bits designed to create a distinctive and eye-catching appearance.
Intelligent Front Lighting System
The Kia EV6 comes equipped with an Intelligent Front Lighting System that incorporates adaptive high-beam tech. This offers the best possible visibility at night without dazzling oncoming traffic.
Distinctive rear lights
At the rear of the EV, we can find a unique light signature. This one-of-a-kind unit stretches in a curved line and merges with the rear wheel arches on both sides. It is kitted with multiple LEDs creating a piano-look effect.
Wing-type roof spoiler
The straight and sporty roofline of the car ends with a wing-type roof spoiler that not only adds to the styling quotient, but also helps in the aerodynamics.
Automatic flush handles
The side profile of the EV is elevated by the auto flush door handles that pop out when you approach the car. These also help in improving aerodynamics.

Inside the Kia EV6, you get a spacious interior with a flat floor and ample legroom space for all passengers. It also features a smart cockpit design with auto relaxation seats. The latter enables you to convert the front passenger seats into a lounge at the time of charging the EV at a charging station.

The cabin is also kitted with several things made of sustainable materials. These include door pockets and floor carpets made of recycled plastics, vegan leather upholstery and more.
Panoramic dual 12.3-inch display
On the centre of the dashboard, the EV features a 12.3-inch curved display, fulfilling all the infotainment needs of the passengers. As for the instrument panel, you also get the similarly sized 12.3-inch curved display.
Augmented Reality Head-up Display
Beside the digital display, the car also has an Augmented Reality Head-up Display providing instructions in the driver’s line of sight. It shows all key information on the windscreen, including navigation map, lane safety, highway drive assist system and more.
I-PEDAL
The Kia EV6 also comes with an all-new feature called I-PEDAL. It controls the speed, accelerates, decelerates, and stops via the throttle pedal. This is mated to a regenerative braking system to harness the braking energy and improve the car’s overall range and efficiency.
Meridian Premium Sound System
With the Kia EV6, you get the Meridian Premium Sound System which incorporates Kia’s acoustic sound design for an immersive experience.
Vehicle-to-Load
With the Electric Global Modular Platform and large battery pack under the skin, the EV is capable of supplying power to the portable electric devices. The system is called Vehicle-to-Load and it supplies up to 3.6kW power of electricity. With this, you can charge e-bike, camping equipment, movie projector and other devices.
Here we end the Kia EV6 gallery and move to the EV’s technical specs. The car comes in two battery packs in the global market - 77.4-kWh and 58-kWh. Both come with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options.
The smaller battery paired with a rear electric motor generates a maximum power output of 168 hp and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The all-wheel-drive, on the other hand, uses two motors for churning out 232 hp and 605 Nm. The 77.4 kWh battery takes these levels to 225 hp and 321 hp for rear- and all-wheel-drive models, respectively.
As for the range, the higher-spec is said to offer 510 km on a single charge. Performance-wise, the EV runs from zero to 100 kmph in 5.2 seconds and clocks a top speed of 260 kmph.
