KUALA LUMPUR: At the ongoing Malaysia Autoshow 2023, a brand-new car made its soft launch. Called the Neta V it is priced at RM 99,800, making it the most affordable EV around.

    • Built upon a dedicated platform, the EV gets a 38.5 kWh battery pack which offers a range of up to 380 km
    • It gets a vehicle-to-load feature that allows you to power other electronic devices
    • For charging are an on-board 6.6 kW AC charger (0-100% - 8 hrs) and a DC fast charger (30-80% - 30 mins)
    • Its single e-motor sits on the front axle and generates 95 hp and 150 Nm of torque

    • Adding to the driver’s convenience are the electronic parking brake and reverse camera. Also, drivers will not need to press any buttons to power the car, one needs to just unlock, step in, and drive away
    • The known safety feature list includes - two airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, ABS, passive cruise control, hill descent control, automatic brake hold, tyre pressure monitoring system
    • Available colour tones include - Midnight Gray, Sakura Pink, Cyan, White Storm, and Sky Blue
